This time, I came to Futian, Shenzhen to do the finishing work of a cross-border project. I stayed for a week before and finally chose Sunflower Hotel &Residence, Futian Port Branch. I had heard it recommended by friends who often travel to Shenzhen and Hong Kong before, but after actually staying, I realized that it completely broke away from the stiffness of ordinary business hotels, and put the comfort and refined temperature of long-term stay into every day's accommodation experience.
The process of checking in was particularly smooth. The security guard at the gate saw me dragging two large boxes of luggage and took the initiative to help me deliver them to the lobby. After verifying the information at the front desk, they specially arranged a south facing duplex in the high area for me. They also smiled and reminded me that there was a dedicated apartment parking space on the B2 floor of the underground parking lot, so I didn't have to drive around to find a spot. Pushing open the 60 square meter duplex door, the tall space completely lacks the cramped feeling of a regular apartment. The warm toned light wood soft furnishings paired with plain cotton and linen sofas, without flashy internet celebrity decorations, exude a neat and tidy atmosphere everywhere, like pushing open a pre cleaned urban home.
The accommodation experience is particularly solid in terms of details. The downstairs office area is equipped with a spacious solid wood desk, and the multi port charging panel does not require searching for sockets all over the place. Even staying up late to revise project reports can ensure a stable and focused work. The most surprising thing is the fully equipped open kitchen, with a double door refrigerator, induction cooker, and a complete set of kitchenware. Occasionally, I would like to cook some light soup without having to eat takeout every meal. I can also eat comfortably and freely on business trips. The fully automatic washing and drying all-in-one machine solves the big trouble of long-term residence. In Shenzhen's Huanan Tian Li, the formal clothes can be washed and dried on the same day, and even the hand held ironing machine is prepared in advance, so you can easily iron the suit straight before meeting the customer.
Following the solid wood staircase up to the independent bedroom on the second floor, with a 2-meter wide bed and a moderately soft mattress, I was able to sleep soundly for a whole night every day after a week of high-intensity work, without the insomnia commonly seen in unfamiliar hotels. There are independent touch desk lamps and charging panels installed on both sides of the bed, so you can turn off the lights easily while lying in bed without having to get up in the dark to find the switch. The bathroom has undergone a complete separation of dry and wet areas, with hot water flowing out quickly and steadily. The constant temperature water flow does not fluctuate between cold and hot, and the cleaning is spotless. There are no water stains left on the countertop, and there is no visible dust accumulation even in the corners.
The sound insulation effect exceeded expectations. Although the apartment is located adjacent to the city's main road, after closing the windows, you can hardly hear the traffic noise from outside. Even if you are facing the commercial district of Shixia, you can rest quietly. In my spare time, I can walk downstairs for 5 minutes to reach Shixia subway station. The nearby Chaoshan beef hotpot and Cantonese style tea shops can be reached within a few steps, so there is no need to take a taxi and run far to find food. During my one week stay here, I didn't encounter any unpleasant incidents. The whole experience was relaxed and reassuring. This time, I came to Futian, Shenzhen to connect with the Shenzhen Hong Kong cross-border project. I will stay for five days, so I specifically chose Sunflower Hotel &Residence, Futian Port Branch. As a business person who travels back and forth between Shenzhen and Hong Kong for business, I have stayed in many hotels in Futian. The duplex business room I booked is a whopping 60 square meters, with a separate reception and office area downstairs and a completely private bedroom upstairs. The work and rest spaces are completely separated, avoiding the cramped feeling of "sitting on the bed changing the plan". A solid wood office desk with a width of 1.6 meters is reserved with network cable interfaces and multiple sets of fast charging sockets, so there is no need to search for sockets all over the place. You can directly process cross-border project reports by opening your computer. The room is equipped with a fully automatic washing machine and an all-in-one dryer, allowing formal wear to be washed and dried on the same day without having to store a pile of clothes to take home. The open plan small kitchen also comes with an ironing machine, allowing for easy ironing of suits before meeting customers. The attention to detail completely touches the pain points of business people.
The business facilities in the apartment are particularly practical. The 24-hour business center allows for printing and binding of project materials at any time.
